How to play

Grow a medieval settlement in the spirit of Knights and Merchants. Every building needs a road to its door (the yellow tile) linking it to a storehouse — serfs carry goods only along roads. Roads cost one stone a tile: you mark them out and labourers dig and pave them.

People get hungry. When they're peckish they walk to the nearest inn and eat; keep it stocked with bread, sausages, fish or wine or they will starve. New people — serfs, labourers and every trade — are trained at the school for one gold chest each.

Trunks → sawmill → timber. Boulders → quarry → stone. Farm → corn → mill → flour → bakery → bread. Corn → swine farm → pigs → butcher → sausages. Coal + gold ore → metallurgist → gold for the school.

Your settlement thrives!

Your bakers have baked sixty loaves of bread. Keep building if you like.
